Description

Well this took me about 5 days to complete. I used this artwork to practice painting environments. Here, I practiced painting clouds with a new brush, which I had never used before, mountains, a sea, forests and a river.

Well, painting Luna was kind of fun, as there are cool and bright colors that illuminate her in the dark! :D

Programs used:
Photoshop CC

OK, so as usual I'll start with things I like about this picture.

Water, background and Luna is just amazing (man, those wings? <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="276" title="Love"/>)

Now the following might be just problem with my eyes <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> I think there might be too many bright objects that compete for attention. Moon, its reflection, flowers and Luna. All these objects are bright compared to rest of the image so my eyes didn't knew what to look at first and they were drawing away attention when trying to focus on details on Luna (did I said already that I love her wings? <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> )

Last thing is her butt. Right half have same colour as background so I almost thought she only have 3 legs.

All and all these points are just little nit picks and they are overshadow by rest of the image which is in my opinion amazing.
