In the beginning, I just drew an simple sketch of Rainbow Dash to familiarize with the basic painting tools in Photoshop, but I didn't expect myself to continue on and paint till this far! If you wanna use this for anything, remember to let me know and give me credit!

100% painted on Photoshop CS6 for a total of 19 days (several hours per day except on certain working days)

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactOkay, first of all... this picture is AMAZING!
The placement of the character to the background is perfect! So may people stuff that bit up. It makes the picture a whole lot more 3D and really, really pop!
Rainbow's pose is good, and the shading is actually kinda showing you what she's doing more than the pose itself. And you got THE OTHER WING IN! It's amazing how many people will leave the other wing out just because they can't be bothered to do it. You also have the wing shading immaculate and the wing flap dimensions covered.
Two or three things I have a problem about (I'm sorry! ;; ) is
1. The back left leg - a little bit lumpy, and it probably needed to be pushed back a little bit <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=" (Wink)"/>2. The eyebrows - they vary a little in thickness, but since it is underneath hair, maybe it's just shadow?
3. The chin - just a little bit flat <:

But I have to just sing praises about the background - OMG ITS AMAZINGGG
The clouds are perfect - a little bit of fluff at the top, earth-like. To a pegasus, the earth is cloud. So you made them look like mountains! Nice job.
The rainbows are amazing too. I love the reflection parts where (i guess) the sun hits it.
The flaky clouds at the top are also a good addition - continuing with the ground clouds would have mad it appear closed in, while nothing would have made it boring and out of place.
Overall, well done. I've already set this as my desktop background x3
